In compliance with the philosophy of equitable justice enshrined in the Constitution of India, the UGC has extended the services of the SC/ST Cell to OBC, minority, and disabled students. In line with UGC guidelines, the University has constituted the Equal Opportunity Cell with the objective of addressing issues related to students belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities, and Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) on a continual basis. The cell aims to empower such students to participate fully in the academic, intellectual, social, and cultural life of the University on an equal basis.
