The Department of Civil Engineering has been in existence since 2011 and has grown into a full fledged department, offering the courses leading to get B.E degree (4 years) in the stream of Civil Engineering. The Department has well qualified faculties and supporting staffs in areas such as Structures, Geo-technology, Construction & Management, Environmental and Transportation Engineering.
The Department additionally give its special emphasis on Engineering Automation. The students will be exposed to grab advanced computing techniques used for analysis and design. In this regard, the department provides opportunities for students to acquire knowledge in the latest softwares such as, STAADPRO, AUTOCAD, MS Projects and E-TABS. Expertise gained in these automation tools will enhance the competitive edge of our graduates in the ever tighter job Environment.
The Department completely developed and experienced to promote the Curriculum & Curriculum development activities by updating existing courses and developing the new advancement courses and prepare resource material, methodology for teaching and learning process. It regularly undertakes industrial consultancy works as a part of its interaction with industry and also organizes workshops/conferences/seminars/symposium for professional interaction. The Department contributes to the inter-disciplinary academic and research activity of the Institute.
