The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started in the year 2011, it is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The four year under graduate programme B.E. in Computer Science is intended to train the students in both advanced areas in the core courses and specialized topics in the emerging technology.
It has excellent infrastructure and facilities for the students. It is the endeavor of the management to periodically migrate to the latest software and hardware to keep pace with ever changing needs with the society and industries so that our students come out with latest knowledge in both software and hardware.
The students are provided with various opportunities to develop their professionalism, life-long learning skill, and team-work and communication skill. Students are encouraged to come up with their own ideas which are materialized by the department into actual projects with societal impact. The students are also encouraged to publish their research articles based on the projects undertaken. The rigorous training that the students undergo makes them worthy professionals with mental agility and technical skill sets sought after by the IT Industry.
Apart from regular academic course, the teachers and students are also engaged in conducting workshops, Seminars and Conferences. To develop the technical knowledge for the students we are conducting Intra – College symposium every year.
